Focus Footballs mixed 2005/06 group entered the Mediterranean International Cup Category E for 2005 borns for the first time in Barcelona. The boys had an unbelievable week of development and fun which seen them top their group playing the Barcelona Scoocer School team from the USA winning 11-2, playing a team from the outskirts of Barcelona 26-2 and a brilliant game against a team from as far as Panama which ended 5-5 with the focus boys showing amazing character to come back to draw.
Focus eventually lost to a club from the United States of America in the last 16. going 4-1 down was too much for the Focus lads who again who came back to 4-3 but couldn't quite find the last goal to turn the tie around. It was a massive shame as winning this round would of seen our players play eventual winners Espanyol on national television.
All in all it was a great experience being around some of the biggest and best football clubs in the worls and bring on next year!
