Focus Footballs 2008 and 2009 groups competed in the Sol Indoor French National Football Tournament in Marseilles over the weekend. Both teams played some fantastic football with the french fans impressed with our children's desire to win and technical management of the ball.
Our 2008 groups were extremely successful being unbeaten over the course of the weekend keeping 9 clean sheets in 10 games and only losing on penalties. The highlights of the weekend were their 3-0 victory of Paris St Germain academy and the 2009 groups visit to the Marseilles Lille first team match.
2008 finished 5th overall beating eventual winners Marseilles 2-0.
2009 finished 12th overall.
What an amazing experience it was for all involved and we look forward to our next trip abroad!!!
